TEZU, 6 Dec: The recently renovated and upgraded ‘Lohit Bakery’, run by the Lohit Cooperatives Society, was inaugurated here on Wednesday by Lohit DC Shashvat Saurabh.
The DC in his address urged the Lohit Cooperatives Society to “maintain quality of the products and ensure cleanliness.”
LCGS chairman Soai Kri and LGCS MD Birik Bole expressed appreciation for the DC for encouraging the cooperative society to “go for major renovation of the bakery counter,” and for assisting in turning the small bakery into a grand cafeteria.
The bakery had started way back in 1958, during the NEFA era. (DIPRO)
