LIKABALI, 23 Sep: Rural Development (RD) Director Kanto Danggen advised the government officers of Lower Siang district to comply with the prescribed guidelines while implementing projects.
During a meeting here on Monday to review the status of the centrally sponsored schemes (CSS) being implemented in the district by the RD department, Danggen also asked the department’s officers to monitor the progress of the works regularly, “so that the government’s endeavours to bring tangible changes in the society is successful.”
PMAY-G SNO Tamo Rebi, MGNREGA DO PabomDoye, and all the block development officers of the district delivered presentations on the status of the CSS programmes in their respective blocks in the current financial year. The district is divided into four blocks – Ramle Banggo, Likabali, Gensi and Kangku- for implementation of RD programmes.
RD Project Director Tajum Ronya apprised the director of the status of various schemes being undertaken in the district under the RD department,and also brought to his knowledge the bottleneckspertaining to the implementation of the schemes.(DIPRO)
