SAGALEE, Apr 16: Former chief minister and Sagalee MLA Nabam Tuki urged the Nyishi Baptist Church Council (NBCC) to work towards ensuring “clean elections for a change.”
Tuki, who attended the 46th annual conference of the NBCC here in Papum Pare district on Saturday, acknowledged the contribution of Christianity, particularly the NBCC, in socioeconomic and spiritual development of the Nyishi community.
He said that the NBCC’s contribution in different fields for the uplift of the community has been immense.
Kimin pastoral range stood first in the male group dance competition, followed by Palin pastoral range, and Doimukh pastoral range in second and third position respectively.
The three-day cluster-wise conference was attended by more than 8000 delegates. APSPCB Chairman Techi Tagi Tara also attended it.
