Editor,
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the authorities of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) towards an important concern shared by many aspirants.
Optional papers in the APPSC examination hold a crucial weightage in the final merit list. However, there is often a noticeable variation in the difficulty level and pattern of different optional subjects, which may create an imbalance among candidates and affect the fairness of evaluation. In this regard, I respectfully urge the APPSC to consider applying a moderation policy during the evaluation of optional papers. Such a step would ensure a more equitable and just assessment process, providing a level playing field for all aspirants, regardless of their subject choice.
In the interest of fairness and to ensure a level playing field for all aspirants, I kindly request that the commission consider applying moderation to the optional papers. This would help maintain parity and ensure that no candidate is unduly disadvantaged due to unforeseen variations in the paper pattern or difficulty. We have immense faith in the transparency and integrity of the APPSC, and we trust that our humble request will be given due consideration.
