ZIRO, 8 Aug: The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ and ‘Har Ghar Swachhata’ campaigns were launched here by Lower Subansiri ZPC Pura Dollo, in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Oli Perme, PHE&WS Ziro Division Executive Engineer Tung Sono, and others on Friday.
The campaigns will continue till 15 August.
Addressing the gathering, the ZPC highlighted the significance of the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative in fostering a sense of pride, unity, and patriotism among citizens ahead of Independence Day. He also described the Har Ghar Swachhata mission as a vital step towards ensuring clean surroundings and healthier living conditions in every household.
The DC in her address urged all government departments, institutions, and the public to actively participate in both campaigns. She also underlined the importance of community ownership in maintaining cleanliness and “promoting the spirit of the national flag.”
National flags were distributed to officials, community representatives, and the public on the occasion to encourage widespread participation in Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
Among others, SDO Hage Tarung, EAC Rani Perme, administrative officers, HoDs, and other officials attended the programme. (DIPRO)
