KOLORIANG, 30 Sep: As part of the nationwide celebration of Seva Parv 2025, the Kurung Kumey district administration organized a series of activities across the district, which witnessed participation of students and youths.
A key highlight was a painting competition among schoolchildren, where young participants creatively expressed their ideas on service, nation-building, and cultural pride. The event not only showcased the budding talent of the district but also provided an opportunity for the youths to reflect on their role in building a stronger and united India.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Cheechung Chukhu commended the students and youths for their spirited involvement, noting that their creativity and enthusiasm symbolize the bright future of Kurung Kumey. He further called upon citizens to channel this energy into initiatives that strengthen community bonds and contribute to a culturally vibrant and developed India.
The celebrations in Kurung Kumey will continue until 2 October, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. (DIPRO)
