Editor,
I wish to draw the kind attention of the authorities concerned and the general public towards an issue that has been causing deep anxiety and mounting frustration among the candidates of APSSB-CSLE 2025.
The combined secondary level examination (CSLE) conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) was successfully held in the month of October 2025. Subsequently, the process of document verification was carried out between December 2025 and January 2026. As per normal administrative procedure and past recruitment timelines, the final selection list was expected to be released within a reasonable period after the completion of verification. However, despite the lapse of considerable time, the final merit list has not yet been published.
This prolonged and unexplained delay has created an atmosphere of uncertainty, unrest, and suspicion among thousands of aspirants who have invested their time, resources, and aspirations in this examination. Many candidates are unable to make crucial career decisions, pursue further opportunities, or plan their professional future due to the absence of official confirmation regarding their selection status.
Moreover, such delays inadvertently give rise to speculation and erode the credibility and transparency of the recruiting body. In competitive examinations, where fairness, timeliness, and accountability are of paramount importance, any lack of communication or postponement without public clarification tends to undermine candidates’ trust in the institutional process.
Therefore, I earnestly appeal to the APSSB and all stakeholders concerned to expedite the finalisation and publication of the selection list at the earliest. I also request public representatives, civil society members, and aspirant communities to collectively raise their voices in a constructive and democratic manner, so that the matter receives the urgent attention it deserves.
Timely declaration of results is not merely an administrative formality but a matter directly linked to the careers, livelihoods, and morale of the youths.
