BANDERDEWA, Jun 18: Over 200 people benefited from an eye check-up camp organised at the Police Training Centre (PTC) here on Saturday by the PTC in collaboration with the Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (TRIHMS).
The camp was especially focussed on school-going children of the VKV, PTC and Government Middle School, PTC.
PTC DSP (Training) Dusu Kaling said the idea for the camp was conceived by DGP SBK Singh and Police Welfare Society chief advisor Dr Sushi Singh as part of the welfare measures for the families and children of police personnel who have no time to spare for their families due to round-the-clock duties.
The medical team included TRIHMS eye specialists Dr Yapa Guha and Dr Hage Munya.
