ZIRO, Jun 27: Sojang Lapang Sports Club (SLSC) retained the Dree Football title defeating All Hija Sports Association (AHSA) 4-2 via penalty shoot out here on Wednesday.
The match went to tie-breaker after both the teams were locked 1-1 in full and extra time.
Sojang Lapang Sports Club took the lead 15 minutes into the game, which was equalized by All Hija Sports Association in the second half.
Local MLA and Parliamentary Secretary Tage Taki and Superintendent of Police (Lower Subansiri) Dr. Hemant Tiwari witnessed the final and gave away the prizes to the winners and runners up.
Diibo football team won the Fair Play team award.
Mihin Pullo of Sojang Lapang Sports Club was adjudged the best player of the tournament for the second time and won the golden boot. Taro Mali of AHSA was declared the best emerging player. DIPRO
