ITANAGAR, Jul 2: Forty physical education teachers (PET) from all over the state attended a four-day refresher training programme at the State Council for Education Research & Training in Gohpur and the Sangay Lhaden Sports Academy (SLSA) in Chimpu, which concluded on Friday.
During the training, the PETs were informed about the latest rules and technological advancement in the field of physical education and sports. Several theoretical aspects relating to the development of sports, such as sports psychology management, physical education, sports curriculum, health and hygiene among students, etc, were explained to the participants by experts from the RGU’s department of physical education and SLSA.
Earlier, the inaugural day of the training programme was attended by Sports Authority of Arunachal Chairman Bamang Tago and Arunachal Olympic Association secretary general Abraham Techi.
