NEW DELHI, Jul 16: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu said that Union Minister of State (MoS) for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha has assured that his ministry would take up the greenfield airport project in Hollongi on topmost priority.
Pema, who called on the MoS here today, informed that the state government has finally resolved all the outstanding issues relating to establishment of the airport in Hollongi.
The detailed proposal is under submission with the civil aviation ministry.
The preparation of DPR for the project by the AAI is likely to be completed by 20 July and forwarded to the civil aviation ministry by 30 July. The steering committee is likely to approve the project proposal by August 2018, along with all the mandatory clearances.
