PALIN, Aug 13: The first jan sunwai sammelan organised by the Kra Daadi district administration to facilitate services to the people was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Pige Ligu at the general ground here on Monday.
The event witnessed participation of a large number of people from different corners of the district.
During the programme, various services such as issuance of ST certificates, PRCs, and birth certificates, along with renewal and issuance of forms for ILP, arm licence, trading license, driving licence, vehicle’s registration, Aadhar enrolment, etc, were carried out by the general administration.
Others line departments also actively participated in the programme. LPG kits were distributed to beneficiaries under the Pradham Mantri Ujjwala Yojana; subsidized LED appliances were sold by the APEDA; works such as issuance, correction and update of jobs cards, account number and aadhar update were carried out by the DRDA; distribution of soil health cards, APMC licence, free fish seeds distribution, registration in HORTNET, treatment and vaccination of animals etc were carried out by agri and allied departments.
The medical department conducted a health camp and examined 621 patients and provided treatment. It also issued food licence and conducted checkups and tests.
The education department distributed textbooks, conducted smart class, gave awareness on CM’s flagship programme and provided career counselling. The ICDS issued forms for old age pension, widow pension, disability pension and PM Matru Vandana Yojana.
Forwarding of candidates for ITI, PMEGP and CM Capital Incentive Schemes were carried out by the department of Industries. The bank distributed forms for pension and insurance schemes under PMJJBY, PMSBY and Atal Pension Yojana.
Besides, many departments conducted awareness campaign and distributed pamphlets and booklets to the people. (DIPRO)
