MEBO, Sep 26: Bags of rice and salt were distributed to the flood victims of Borguli, Seram, Namsing, Ralling and Sigar villages under East Siang district by the members of the All Mebo Constituency Students’ Union (AMCSU) on Wednesday.
AMCSU finance secretary Aku Saring and AMCSU president Jing Borang have appealed to the state government to sanction immediate funds for construction of cemented embankment at the left bank of the Siang River to protect all the downstream villages of Mebo sub-division from further flooding.
