Army conducts pre-recruitment trg

PASIGHAT, Nov 19: The officials of the Sigar military station in East Siang district is imparting training to local youths who are aspiring to join the Indian Army and other security forces.
Col Ankur Kulin of the Sigar military station on Sunday flagged off the training programme at the JN College playground here. He said his team would leave no stone unturned to train the enthusiastic aspirants who are ready to serve the nation.
About 41 youths from different districts of Siang region are participating in the training, in preparation for the army recruitment rally scheduled to be held at Tenga in West Kameng district.
Col Ankur recalled that 26 youths of the state who were had been guided by his team got recruited in the Indian army.
