BHEKULIANG, Nov 19: The people of Bhekuliang village in Sunpura circle benefitted from the Sarkar Aapke Dwar (SAD) camp organised here by the Lohit district administration last Friday.
Agriculture Minister Dr Mohesh Chai along with DC Karma Leki, SP DW Thongon and others attended the event.
The minister said SAD camps have benefitted more than 10,000 people of the district till date. He gave the credit for launching the programme to “the visionary insight of Chief Minister Pema Khandu,” and lauded the efforts of the district administration and the departments in conducting the camps.
Dr Chai informed that the Saubhagya Yojana (rural electrification) for Tezu and Sunpura circles would be completed by December, adding that the Hayu bridge would be completed by March next year and connect Bhekuliang/Bedagam to the rest of the district.

A SAD camp was also held at Rumgong by the Siang district administration on Monday.
The camp was inaugurated by DC Rajeev Takuk in the presence of Rumgong CO Khoda Jalyang, HoDs, and others.
The DC also announced the sanctioning of Rs 1 lakh for sanitation and beautification of Rumgong township. (DIPROs)
