NAHARLAGUN Dec 4: Women weavers and members of SHGs attended a weaver’s facilitation camp which was conducted by Papum Pare district administration under MSME support and outreach program at M/S Jenier Weavers Society here on Tuesday.
During the camp, local MPCS (weavers) and weaver registered under CMITPS, local weavers registered under WCS clusters were mobilized to registered to avail facility of govt schemes.
Financial literacy service was also conducted by the SBI, Apex Bank representatives on various govt flagships schemes like; Mudra Loans, PMSBY, PMJJBY, APS, Jan Dhan Yojana, PMEGP.
Others facility like GST registration of weavers, registration of weavers unit in Udhyog Aadhar, MSME, availing of Pehchan Patra and yarn passbook, opening provident fund accounts, registration of weavers as cooperative society, formation of SGHs, training of weavers and PMEGP and facilitation of weavers to open email account were also facilitated on the spot.
Joint Secretary Telecom, GoI, Amit Yadav and Nodal Officer Papum Pare for MSME Support and Outreach Program, Special Secretary Textile and Handicrafts, GoAP , N.T. Glow and Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Joram Beda also attended the programme. (DIPRO)
