NAMSAI, Dec 18: Communicators and gram preraks along with field functionaries of the health and ICDS departments participated in an orientation training on the ‘Arunachal Rising’ campaign here on Tuesday.
Namsai DC Tapasya Raghav, who chaired the programme, said the campaign “is aimed at making the citizens aware of the schemes of the state and central governments which are designed to revamp the rural economy and improve the socioeconomic status of individuals.”
She said Namsai, being the lone aspirational district of the state, “has to work hard in the fields of education, health and other sectors” to make the district a developed one.
The trainees were familiarized with various programmes and schemes by heads of departments.
