JULLANG, Dec 20: A day after rain washed out two of its league matches, the Arunachal Pradesh T20 Cricket Premier League matches resumed at the general ground here on Thursday.
In the first match the Kamle Sixers defeated the Lohit Lions by six runs in a nail-biting finish.
After winning the toss, the Sixers decided to bat first and scored 135 runs in 19 overs. In reply, the Lions scored 129 runs in 20 overs, and lost the match by six runs.
Badakso Navil of the Lohit Lions was adjudged man of the match for his five-wicket haul.
In the second match, the Yomgo Yorkers defeated the Dibang Dynamos. The Yorkers set a target of 160 after finishing 158/7 in 20 overs. The Dynamos could manage to score only 132 runs, losing nine wickets in 20 overs.
Akhilesh Sahani scored 65 runs off just 34 balls for the Yorkers and was declared man of the match.
The Kamle Sixers will take on the Tawangchu Stallions, and the Yomgo Yorkers will play the Panior Rhinos on Friday.
