ITANAGAR, Feb 8: The Arunachal Pradesh state board examinations for the students of Classes 5 and 8 (2018-19 academic session) will be conducted from 12 February, Elementary Education Director Tapi Gao informed in a release.
“All private, aided/unaided, recognized, and NGO-run schools have been exempted from the purview of the state board examination for Classes 5 and 8,” the release said.
However, it will be mandatory for all private, aided/unaided recognized educational institutions to conduct the state board examinations from the next academic session (2019-2020) to implement and eliminate the ‘no-detention policy’, it added.
