ITANAGAR, Mar 6: The Palin Chambang Yangtey Gangte and Tarak Langdi Youth Welfare Association (PCYGTYWA) has opposed the proposed 12 hours Kra Daadi district bandh call announced by Arunachal Trans Highway Indigenous Victims Committee, Kra Daadi district on 8 March next.
The association has in a release on Wednesday, stated that the charter of demands placed by the Arunachal Trans Highway Indigenous Victims Committee was not in favour of the area’s development and appealed to them to take the welfare of the society in consideration before calling any bandh to press for their demands. “We urgently needs development of road for the benefit of the people of Kra Daadi district,” the association stated.
