NAFRA, Mar 9: The Khazalang Lopusa Festival was celebrated for the first time at Khazalang village under Nafra sub-division of West Kameng district with a five-day programme from five March
Attending the festival, local MLA Japu Deru appealed to the villagers to preserve their age-old culture and tradition for identity.
The chairman of the organising committee highlighted the motto of the festival “loss of culture is loss of identity.”
Miji song and folk dance were performed by the villagers.
The festival was organized jointly by the villagers and All Khazalang Lopusa Youth Welfare Association.
