TEZU, Mar 10: A double-storey administrative block of the government higher secondary school here, which also accommodates classrooms and school library, was inaugurated by Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Dr Mohesh Chai on Sunday morning.
The building was constructed with the State Infrastructure Development Fund, 2016-17, and was executed by the Water Resource Department.
Dr Chai was hopeful that the newly built school building will provide better teaching and learning facilities.
He also inaugurated a multi-purpose hall at Tafragam village. The project was funded under SIDF 2016-2017.
The programme was attended by SDO Kajal Karmakar, PD DRDA Duyu Ribya, DDSE Mana Linggi DDSE, and various departmental heads.
