ZIRO, Mar 11: The first phase of the training for sector magistrates and flying squads was held in the conference hall of the Lower Subansiri deputy commissioner here on Monday.
Apart from mapping the sectors and familiarizing themselves with them, the sector magistrates will identify sensitive areas and report it to the district election officer, said DEO Chukhu Takar.
The DEO exhorted all to be prompt in disposing their assigned duties.
Nodal Officer (cVigil) Michi Tabiyo highlighted the various applications launched by the Election Commission of India. He explained in detail about cVIGIL and the process of complaint registration.
SP Dr Hemant Tiwari and ADC Gombu Tsering highlighted the security aspects and duties of sector magistrates.
