LOHIT, Mar 14: In all, 20 trainees from Namsai district took part in a 25-day skill development-training programme on ‘Quality Seed Grower’, which concluded here recently.
During the training, the participants were informed about producing quality seeds, growing and managing crops and maintaining the quality of the produce.
Organized by ICAR-KVK Namsai district, the training was funded by the department of agriculture cooperation and farmers’ welfare under ministry of agriculture and farmers’ welfare, GoI and it was guided by agriculture skill council of India under ministry of skill development & entrepreneurship.
