TAWANG, Mar 16: The 3rd round of election training for presiding officers and polling officers was conducted at Kalawangpo convention hall here on Saturday.
DC-cum DEO Sang Phuntsok, in his address, called upon the election officers to perform their duties sincerely during elections. ‘A mistake in single polling station may hamper the whole process, therefore presiding officers should keep on reading the handbook and clarify their doubts, if any, during the training sessions,’ he said.
DLMT Tashi Wangchu Thongdok gave a revision of the earlier trainings to the PrOs and POs about dos and don’ts in handling the EVM/VVPAT during polling.
During this 3rd round of election training demonstration of all women polling station and mock polling were also conducted.
Earlier, similar trainings were conducted for presiding officers and polling officers of Lungla and Mogto on 14 and 15 of this month. DIPRO
