AALO, Mar 18: The joint Indo-Bangladesh white water rafting expedition on Siyom River, which was flagged from Tumbin under Kayum sub-division on 16 March, has culminated at Pangin in Siang district on Monday.
The expedition team, led by Lieutenant Colonel BN Jha, rafted down the river to Pangin, navigating numerous level 2 and level 3 rapids and covering 85 km in three days.
The Bangladesh side was led by Captain Hasibur Rehman.
Brig Rajeev Thakur flagged-in the expedition in the presence of Brigadier C Dayalan and other dignitaries at a function organized by the Along Military Station. (DIPRO)
