ITANAGAR, Mar 20: The All Kamle District Students’ Union in a representation to the chief electoral officer (CEO) here on Wednesday raised objection to the authorities’ decision to shift the office of the returning officer (RO) of the Raga assembly constituency from Raga in Kamle district to the DIPRO office in Upper Subansiri HQ Daporijo.
The union termed the decision to shift the RO office “unfair,” and urged the authorities concerned to review the decision in the larger interest of the people of Kamle district.
It also sought the CEO’s early intervention in the matter.
