AALO, June 28: The bridge connecting to Gaming village in West Siang district has collapsed following incessant rains, forcing the villagers to take a long, arduous route.
Continuous rainfall also triggered a huge landslide which blocked the Gangkak-Yomcha road. However, the blockage was cleared under the initiative of Sirurijo tea garden director Yayum Gangkak, using resources she managed on her own.
Gangkak said this was the fifth time that she had the road cleared using her own resources. (DIPRO)
