CHIRANG, Jun 29: Twenty-three farmers and farmwomen participated in a training programme on ‘agro techniques of soybean production’, organised here by the Anjaw Krishi Vigyan Kendra on Saturday.
Addressing the participants, agronomy scientist Khoisnam Naveen spoke on the “production technology of soybean,” stressing on the importance of seed treatment and weed, pest and disease management, besides the importance of soil fertility for crop production.
Later, Dsb-19 soybean seeds were distributed to the farmers.
