AALO, Oct 2: Students from college, schools and few of the heads of departments present their poems and stories during a one-day open air workshop on poetry and storytelling session here on 29 September last.
It was organized by the Arunachal Literature and Art Festival 2019 representative Kary Padu in coordination with West Siang police.
Attending the session, West Siang deputy commissioner Swetika Sachan lauded the ALAF for conducting the session for the young students to inculcate in them a literary temperament which will go a long way in promoting literature movement in the district.
The colonel from Indian Army and SP Jummar Basar also gave useful tips to the youth to enroll themselves in Indian army and police. The DFO Abhinav Kumar and SP Jummar Basar also presented their stories.
Earlier, organizer Kary Padu said that the event is directed to promote interest among the coming generation in literary works and to hunt such talents from different pockets of the state to give them better and wider platform in the Arunachal Literature and Art Festival at Itanagar in the month of November.
