ITANAGAR Feb 19: Rajiv Gandhi University Students Union has decided to stage a dharna against the visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Feb 20.
The home minister is the Chief Guest of the 34th statehood day celebrations, Itanagar and is scheduled to take part in the festivities at IG Park.
The union said that dharna is being staged to “demonstrate abomination towards the egocentric decision of implementing CAA, 2019, thereby hurting the sentiments of indigenous people and atrocious handling of protestors of various universities during anti-CAA protests”.
