ITANAGAR, Apr 10: The employees of the Arunachal Pradesh State Cooperative Apex Bank have contributed a day’s salary to the CM’s relief fund [CMRF] to support the efforts towards preventing the spread of Covid-19 in the state.
The cheque, amounting to Rs 4,27,385, was handed over to Chief Minister Pema Khandu by the bank’s employees’ association president Tadar Taluk on Friday.
The CM thanked the employees of the bank for the generous contribution and expressed appreciation for their concern for the health and safety of the state’s people.
Apex Bank MD Tsering Thongdok, who was also present, informed that “despite the lockdown, the bank could undertake annual closing for the fiscal year 2019-20 with substantial increases in deposits and lending portfolios.”
Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar and Apex Bank Administrator Habung Lampung were also present.
