ITANAGAR, Sep 9: East Kameng FA (EKFA) grounded Tribal FC in a group level match in the 5th Veteran Cup Football Tournament.
The team trounced Tribal FC 10-0 in a one-sided match played at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Naharlagun on Saturday. After Gyumte Natung opened the flood gate in the 8th minute, there was no looking back for EKFA and scored almost at will.
Sonam Bagang, who scored a hat-trick of goal, was declared “Hero of the Match”.
In another match, E&K’s registered a hard fought 3-1 win over Kurung Kumey Veteran.
The “Hero of the match” was Tadar Rupu.
