ITANAGAR, Sep 30: Claiming that there was foul play in the death of one Nyari Tacho Camdir of Rash village, Seppa, the Camdir Welfare Society (CWS) urged the investigating authority to expedite the investigation so that the alleged murderers could be brought to justice.
Strongly condemned the incident, the CWS claimed that Tacho was summoned by the Mithun Welfare Committee President on September 25 last. Accordingly, he went to out to attend the meeting on September 26 and never returned home.
On September 27, Tacho’s wife was informed that he was found hanging near Barapani at Naharlagun.
The aggrieved family member lodged an FIR with Naharlagun Police Station and accordingly a case was registered with the Naharlagun Police Station Under Section 302/342/34 IPC on September 27.
Taking serious note on the incident, the CWS demanded stringent punishment of the persons involved in the death of late Tacho.
