ITANAGAR, Oct 15: Altogether 27 Ambulances under National Health Mission was flagged off by Health and Family Welfare Parliamentary Secretary Phurpa Tsering on Sunday at Civil Secretariat. These ambulances will be placed at various Community Health Centre and Primary Health Centres across the state.
Speaking on the occasion Parliamentary Secretary Health Phurpa Tsering said that with the flag off of 27 ambulances, the State Government’s objective of providing effective health care delivery on wheels to far flung villages and hamlets would be achieved. While revealing the department’s plans, Phurpa said that the state government is committed to give its citizens accessible, affordable, effective, accountable and reliable health care, particularly to the poorer and vulnerable sections of population.
