Pario calls for preservation of tribal culture & tradition

NAHARLAGUN, Nov 5: Palin MLA Takam Pario on Saturday launched the official website, mobile apps and Live Remote Control Voting System of ‘Ejeng Dudak Musical Band’ (EDMB) in an event here at a city hotel.
Speaking on the occasion, Pario urged everyone to preserve tribal folklores, folksongs, culture and traditions.
Pario said the artistes are doing their best in preservation of art, culture and traditional values of the society through different forums, like Arunachal Artist Forum and EDMB, and appealed to the professionals engaged in different stream, like games, sports and music to perform their duty with sincerity and create competitive atmosphere.
Chairman Science & Technology Bamang Mangha lauded the efforts of the band and emphasised on preservation of the unique tribal identity and history. He also appealed to all to encourage singers who are working for preservation of cultural heritage of the society.
EDMB Chairman Takam Dado Tallam, Arunachal Artist Forum Chairman Patey Tajuk, Academician Dr Apurva Ranjan, EDMB General Secretary Neelam Pope and Executive Member Bamang Loram also gave an insight into the occasion.
Singers of different communities of the state performed their melodies during the event.
