DA, transport federations meet on Jugnoo Auto Services

Itanagar, Nov 10: A meeting was held today in the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex Prince Dhawan to discuss regarding launching of Jugnoo Auto Services in the Capital Complex with the various transport federations of the Capital Complex.
During the meeting, the DC briefed about the Jugnoo services that are currently active in 30 states of the country.
He informed that the service would streamline the system of auto service and ensure transparency in the payment for the customers who can opt for various payment modes as per their desire.
Moreover, through this service customers can call the auto directly at their doorstep. It would work in the same way as Ola and Uber are performing in the other states and if implemented, our state would be first in the North East to adapt the services. However, it is completely at the discretion of the transport federation to whether accept it or not, added the DC. He further informed that the only requirement would be to have a smart phone and the Jugnoo App.
DTO, Capital Complex Remar Gab also clarified that there would not be any forceful enforcement of service rather the meeting has been called so that the various transport federations could get an idea of what Jugnoo services is about.
He informed that even if the service is implemented it is entirely upon the discretion of auto drivers whether to get enrolled or not. He also stressed that if implemented it would help sort out irregularities in the fare that are sometimes witnessed by the customers.
Saurabh Gupta, Vice President and Gaurav Sachdeva, Assist Manager, Operations Jugnoo presented a PPT on the Jugnoo services showing detailed features of Jugnoo which they said was a 1-click hailing app for affordable rides and Cash and cashless options available for payment.
President AAPPTF Dobing Sonam shared his experience of such service and informed that if the service is implemented it would not only benefit the customer but it would also likely to increase the number of customers for the auto drivers also. He also requested the representatives from Jugnoo to set up a office here at Itanagar so that any information/communication could be carried out properly and more people could be made aware about the service.
He informed that the AAPPTF is willing to welcome the Jugnoo services and assured that all kind of support and cooperation would be provided by them.
