AALO, Nov 15: In all, 337 people benefited from a day -long free health-cum-awareness camp organized by Kibom Old Age Welfare Society (KOAWS), a local NGO at Darka village here recently.
The army dental unit from Siang Healers, West Siang district under the strict supervision of Capt. Nyajum Rida and Captain Dr. Vipul Jain screened patients especially, old people for problems related to dental health.
Further, as many as 30 people registered their name for artisan identity card at the awareness camp conducted by the department of Textile and Handicrafts while, the ICDS department also enlightened women and senior citizens of Darka village about Dulari Kanya Scheme and Old Age Pension benefits.
