PANGIN, Nov 17: The Community Hall (Dere) of Jorsing village, one of the remotest villages under Rebo-Perging Circle of Siang district, was inaugurated by local MLA Tapang Taloh on November 15.
Constructed under the model village infrastructure development scheme, the hall was executed by Department of Rural Work, Kaying division.
On the occasion, the MLA felicitated Mahendra Bharali, a trained graduate teacher of Govt. Primary School, Jorsing for his immense contribution in spreading the knowledge of education in the village.
The school was almost lying defunct, when Bharali joined in 2009.
The MLA donated few sports items to the school.
Boleng ADC Tayek Pado emphasized on providing proper sanitary toilets in the village. He said that there was lack coordination and cooperation among the district officers, PRIs members and public leaders in carrying out government schemes at grassroots level. He appealed them to maintain good coordination and cooperation for successful implementation of the government schemes.
