ITANAGAR, Nov 23: Itanagar-Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner, Prince Dhawan has urged unemployed youths of rural areas under the Capital Complex to avail benefits under the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP).
Informing that 20 vacant slots remain to be filled up under the PMEGP, the DC said the objective of the programme is to generate employment opportunities in rural as well as urban areas of the country by setting up new self-employment ventures to help arrest migration of rural unemployed youths to urban areas.
Meanwhile, 25 applicants under PMEGP were selected as beneficiaries for the year 2017-18 in an interview conducted by the District Level Screening Committee on Thursday.

The DC has also directed the lead bank manager to ensure early disbursement of loan to selected beneficiaries. (DIPRO)
