ITANAGAR, Dec 6: Six boys and five girls will represent Arunachal Pradesh in the 63rd School National Games (Weightlifting), scheduled to be held in Guwahati from December 7 to 11.
The selection was made by the Directorate of School Education and the Arunachal Weightlifting Association (AWA), based on the performance of the athletes in the 2ndState Olympic Games and the 7thState Weightlifting Championship held at the SA/SAG Centre in Naharlagun in November.
The team: (Boys) Sankar Lapung(50 kg), Charu Pesi (56 kg), Tade Tara (62 kg), Baro Natung (69 kg), Rade Rallen (77 kg), and Nabam Tat (85 kg). (Girls) Tadar Neha (44kg), Balo Yalam (48 kg), Posen Kongkang (53 kg), Boni Mangkhiya (58kg), and Liza Kamsa (63 kg).
AWA General Secretary Daniel Teli is the Chef-De-Mission.
