TARASSO, Dec 11: Urban Development Minister Nabam Rebia, accompanied by Sports & Youth Affairs Secretary Dani Salu and Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner Tai Kaye visited Balijan subdivision on Monday.
The minister inspected the under-construction Ramghat Bridge, the Gera Lake tourist resort, the PMGSY road, and the police station in Tarasso, and interacted with the police personnel.
Later, he inaugurated the Nabam Rungkhi Cricket Tournament at Bormai under Tarasso circle.
Addressing the gathering, the minister highlighted the central and state government’s developmental projects and schemes, and assured that a mini playground and a stadium would be constructed at Bormai.
Salu in his address encouraged the participating teams to uphold the sportsman spirit.
Rebia also later attended a public meeting with GBs and panchayat leaders of Tarasso circle. (DIPRO)
