Doimukh, Dec 14: The Hindi cell of Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) organised a workshop on ‘Official Hindi – An Introduction’ at the accountant general’s office here on Monday.
Addressing the participants, resource person Gumpi Nguso spoke on the appropriate use of administrative terminology, noting, drafting official letters, use of correct Devanagari alphabet, and such.
She also emphasized the need to use correct Hindi phonetics.
Among others, Deputy Accountant General Brojen Doley, RGU Hindi Officer Gumpi Nguso, and the department’s officers attended the workshop.
