NAHARLAGUN, Dec 16: Various sports competitions organized by the Si-Donyi Festival Celebration Committee as part of the Si-Donyi festival celebration in the Capital Complex began at the Si-Donyi ground here on Saturday.
Both indoor and outdoor sports events, such as chess, badminton, volleyball, cricket etc, are being held in different locations in the Capital Complex.
The volleyball tournament is being organized in memory of Toke Mara.
Around 500 sportspersons are participating in the events.
Sports Director Tadar Appa inaugurated the badminton tournament at Si-Donyi ground in Naharlagun on Saturday.
