WATTE, Dec 30: Two houses were reportedly gutted by fire in remote Bulla village in Watte area of East Kameng district on Saturday evening.
Sources informed that, while no casualty was reported, no belongings could be retrieved from the flames. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
Members of the East Kameng Middle Zone Students’ Union, led by its General Secretary Arun Sangdo, distributed relief materials to the affected families on Saturday.
The union has appealed to the district administration to provide immediate relief to the affected families.
