ROING, Jan 6: Volunteers from I-Clean Roing participated in a cleanliness drive on the banks of the Eze river on Saturday.
The scenic beauty of the riverside has reportedly been affected with the heavy flow of tourists to Roing and subsequent littering.
The drive saw the participation of a large number of teachers and students from Intaya Public School, the government middle school and the higher secondary school here, green clubs, Scouts and Guides, and representatives of the Idu Mishmi Cultural and Literary Society and the Anjalu Menda Women Empowerment Forum, among others.
