Family reiterates demand for CBI inquiry into Pinch’s death

ITANAGAR, Jan 17: Dissatisfied with the SIT probe into the death of former Doimukh MLA Ngurang Pinch, the aggrieved family members have reiterated their demand to handover the case to the CBI.
“It has been two months since Pinch died on 18 November, 2017; but there has been no breakthrough in his death case,” rued the family members of late Pinch, in a release on Wednesday.
“The SIT, which was constituted on 30th November, 2017, has been working at a snail’s pace with no major breakthrough on the case, which made the family and the public anxious and agitated about the case,” they said.
The family members and the Achi Dopum Society have strongly appealed to the chief minister to initiate a CBI inquiry immediately, stating that ‘justice delayed is justice denied’.
