ITANAGAR, Jan 18: Governor Dr BD Mishra on Thursday stressed on bringing about a change in people’s mindset to maintain and promote cleanliness.
Continuing the cleanliness drive under the theme ‘Hamara Elan Swachhta aur Nari Utthan’, the governor advised the volunteers to reach out to the people and instill a sense of commitment towards Swachh Bharat.
He also emphasized on setting up community toilets in the market areas for the convenience of the people, and also to have basic hygiene amenities in the city.
In Thursday’s cleanliness drive, the governor along with the Raj Bhavan team, members of the IMC, and other volunteers cleaned the areas along TT Marg and Energy Park Itanagar. (PRO to Raj Bhavan)
