ITANAGAR, Jan 23: The All Pipu and Gyawepurang Gram Panchayat Welfare Association (APGPGPWA) in a representation to the East Kameng district panchayat development officer on 19 January sought equal distribution of performance grant to gram panchayats (GP).
Saying that the state share for Arunachal is Rs 16.08 crore, as per the 14th Finance Commission, for the year 2016-2017, the APGPGPWA said that funds should be distributed equally, irrespective of the areas.
