ITANAGAR, Jan 28: In the run-up to the Yazali Golden Jubilee Nyokum Yullo Celebration-2018, traditional games and sports events were held on the first day at Potin village in Yazali subdivision of Lower Subansiri district on Sunday afternoon.
The event was declared open by Transport Parliamentary Secretary Likha Saaya amid a huge crowd as part of the 50-year celebration, which will be held at Yazali from 23 February.
Traditional forms of archery and wrestling were organized during the day-long programme.
Similar events will be organized in all the villages of Yazali subdivision to mark the golden jubilee year of Yazali Nyokum Yullo.
Earlier, colourful cultural programmes were also organized as part of the event.
